The kitchen looks incredible, I had to really think if I was looking at the RL house or your version.
Keep it up
SimonSimonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16843072284822496590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8710829574237229233.post-48254894436720475462019-07-25T11:20:06.833+01:002019-07-25T11:20:06.833+01:00Your projects take a long time because there are h...Your projects take a long time because there are hundreds of tiny little additions and detailing that adds to the richness of the piece and every bit is worthwhile. You have absolutely captured the feel of the house and replicated it without becoming stuck on making everything an excat copy. I especially love Mini M's gingerbread people. I actually have those too but only as paper dolls on a table. Clever twist yet again. I just love the old feel of the rooms.... the Regency cast iron hearth grate and the bread oven are awesome pieces! The tiles for the sink in the corner are beautifully done! Thank you for sharing the links for the Original house site and the photos by Susannah Fields are just incredible! I was poring over them earlier and noticed the (artificial) mice on the table and cupboard... getting at the sugar cone! It reminds me of the Beatrice Potter story "The Tailor of Gloucester" with Simpkin the cat trapping the mice under the tea cups on the dresser! Anyway, I am loving your version... right down to the lace hanging on the wall between the windows.. and your lace curtains are lovely too! I am eagerly awaiting more of this project! (But no rush... I know good things take time!) :):)Daydreamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06170115485686244907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8710829574237229233.post-39901819907658771312019-07-23T21:39:48.758+01:002019-07-23T21:39:48.758+01:00What Luck to have found an aerosol cap which was e...What Luck to have found an aerosol cap which was exactly the right size for your bread oven; usually they are not as long as this one is.
Love the tiled sink area and especially all of the blue and white china distributed throughout- Quite Lovely! elizabeth shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09042037455600427075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8710829574237229233.post-45799076543381116502019-07-23T21:24:59.952+01:002019-07-23T21:24:59.952+01:00So much thoughtfulness really makes this a special...So much thoughtfulness really makes this a special project!
